The Emirates Golf Club Dubai is fondly referred as 'The Desert Miracle', for it was the name given to it when it became the first all-grass championship golf course in the Gulf region in 1988. The club is the brainchild of His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai. It has earned the reputation as the leading golf club in the region and meets the exacting international standards.

Emirates Golf Club has two beautiful championship courses, a 9-hole Par-3 course, the Emirates Golf Academy, two driving ranges, other practice facilities, and a number of recreational amenities apart from excellent dining options. The championship courses are named as The Majlis and The Faldo championship courses.
